School trip to Bundeena

Yes, we do have also school trips. You can choose one elective and if you have Australian studies you actually don't stay in class, but you travel all the time somewhere in Sydney area (which is BTW quite broad term, Great Sydney stretches almost 200 km along the cost...).

Anyway this trip was just 50 km to the south. Bundeena is nice a summer resort (that means it is empty by this time) with a national park next door. Here you can find, besides nice nature, also the Aboriginal Engravings (Pictures engraved into the rock). We took a train and a very funny small boat.

These cozy beaches you can find everywhere around Sydney.

The blue colour of the ocean fits my jumper colour.

Another lovely photo.

This is our class. The majority of students here are Asians (mostly Japanese and Koreans) as you can see from this picture. Other strong nationalities are Brazilians and Frenchies.

The winter weather (we would call it nice Autumn) caused some cold.

This is our teacher John, really enthusiastic about guiding students. As many Aussies, he travels a lot, he spent 8 years teaching English in Japan.

This is the Aboriginal Engraving thousand year old. Not protected, but well hidden in forrest.
